What a photograph proves
Less than people assume. A photograph of a device shows that the device existed, in that state, at some point. It does not show when. The oldest and most common way a challenge quietly dissolves is not dramatic cheating — it is one honest photo, taken on day three, resent on days four through thirty-one.

It forces the inspection. If the check-in requires looking at the device in good light, the daily skin inspection happens on day nineteen, when nobody feels like it. This is quietly the most valuable function.
It creates a small, repeated moment of accountability — a two-minute act at a fixed time. That rhythm is most of what makes a month feel structured rather than merely long.
It gives you a channel that is already open on the day something is wrong. People do not start a difficult conversation from nothing. They mention it in a conversation that was happening anyway.
Privacy is a design decision
A check-in is a private message to one coach, not a post. It should never be published, forwarded or displayed, and any arrangement that treats proof as content has changed what you agreed to. Frame tightly on the device. A verification photo needs no face, no room, and no context.
Missed days
The rule that works: a missed day you declare costs nothing, a missed day discovered later costs something. That asymmetry buys honesty exactly when honesty is most expensive, and it keeps a single bad Tuesday from ending a month that was otherwise going well.
